Home is where the jar is.

After a reasonably long break from anything remotely productive, I got that really annoying urge to start again. Though unlike past experiences I sat on it for a few weeks , before I decided what I would be happy with and what would keep everyone else happy too. I wanted space again so I could wander about and play with different ideas. I was still not sure if I should go ahead, so used the most scientific deciding process ever! I said to myself  "Storm... if there is a sim available with a name you love, you are doing it!.. If there is not then you stay where you are"  I told you it was scientific ;)  Anyway clearly there was a sim out there that suited my name tastes, so I started the process of getting things in order to move the library.

That was kind of scary as I was still getting messages saying how much people enjoyed it. Yet I was about to say " hey I'm gonna be taking away for a while" As it turned out it didn't quite workout that way, I guess the library wasn't available to people for 12 hours tops in the end, not the days I had thought. I think I am becoming great at sim moves they go so smoothly! Though I admit I didn't put it back as it was, I changed a few rooms mainly for my own benefit as they made me smile. Little nods to the things I had loved so dearly and the best of the stuff that I had learnt up until this point, about making great spaces to enjoy. It felt right to include them in the new space, and a change of view for the regular visitors. Thus everyone was winning lol.

This is one of those blogs I have more pics than words, they kind of annoy me. Anyhoo with the library safely moved and no huge disasters, I had to decide just what exactly I wanted to do with the ground level. As what usually happens I picked one thing to work around, in this case a bloody huge victorian greenhouse ( as pictured right at the top of the page) It made a nice contrast to the closed off spaces upstairs in the library. I adore the ground level its so.... minimal but pretty and I have SO much room to change things, add and takeaway. I had a achieved what I wanted to.. a happy medium something for you and something more centred around me and my needs.

I named the parcel -Decay- as it best describes the feel. Though not my usual all out bomb hit mass ruin kind of decay. This is much more gentle and organic based. The ground level is , well it has this amazing feeling its almost like you arrived just after everyone left, I imagine if you could touch the seats they would still be warm, its almost like an echo. Anyway before I lost in rambling that is what I have been up to of late.  I'm sure over time it will grow and develop more, but for now I'm content with the feel its developing it feels just as it should, it feels like I feel. Lets face it the best places I did all came from feeling rather than a sense of duty. I'm sure I will write about this place again, when time has passed and things have changed once again. But for now As always....
